Terms of Service

These terms explain the agreement between you and Boga Tanzania LTD when you use our website, join the waitlist and, once it launches, use the Boga service. Please read them carefully.
Boga is in prelaunch. This document describes how we operate today and how we intend to operate when the product launches. We will update it, and tell you about material changes, before new features go live.
1. Agreement and eligibility
By using tryboga.com, joining the waitlist or using Boga, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy and Acceptable Use Policy. If you use Boga on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorized to accept these terms for it.
You must be at least 18 years old to join the waitlist or use Boga.

3. Prelaunch website and waitlist
Boga is currently in prelaunch. The website describes a product that is being built. Joining the waitlist is free, does not create a subscription and does not require payment.
Joining the waitlist does not guarantee an invitation, a particular launch date, a position in an invitation order, or the availability of any feature or price described on the website. Prices shown before launch are indicative.
4. Account registration and security
When accounts become available, you will need to register with accurate, current information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
You agree that the information you give us, including on the waitlist, is accurate and not misleading.
5. The service and platform dependency
Boga is being built to help you plan, schedule and publish content to social platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube. Boga depends on those platforms’ official APIs. What Boga can do — including supported account types, media formats and publishing features — depends on each platform’s capabilities, policies, approvals and your account’s eligibility, all of which can change without notice to us.
6. Your content
You own the content you create, upload or schedule with Boga (“your content”), and you keep ownership of your social accounts.
You grant Boga Tanzania LTD a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process, adapt (for example, resizing or reformatting for a platform) and publish your content solely to provide the service according to your instructions. This licence ends when your content is deleted from Boga, except for copies held briefly in backups or where the law requires us to keep them.
7. Your responsibilities for content
You are responsible for your content and for having all rights and permissions needed to publish it — including rights to music, images, video, trademarks, and the consent of people who appear in it. Your content must comply with the law, these terms and each platform’s rules.
8. Acceptable use
Our Acceptable Use Policy forms part of these terms. It describes what you may not do with Boga and how we handle reports.
9. Third-party social networks
Social platforms are operated by independent companies. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies, which you must follow. We are not responsible for the platforms’ services, availability, decisions or changes. Boga is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Meta, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Google or YouTube.
If you connect a YouTube account, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.
10. Permissions, disconnection and deletion
When you connect a social account, you authorize Boga to act within the permissions you grant. You can disconnect an account in Boga or revoke access through the platform at any time. Disconnecting stops Boga from publishing to that account. You can ask us to delete your data as described on our Data Deletion page.
11. Plans, billing, taxes, renewals and refunds
Payments are not available yet. When paid plans launch:
- each plan will have clear limits, such as brands, connected accounts and scheduled content per month;
- prices, applicable taxes, billing frequency and payment methods will be shown before you pay;
- subscriptions will renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel;
- you will be able to cancel at any time, with access continuing until the end of the paid period; and
- our refund terms will be shown at checkout, without limiting any rights you have under mandatory law.
Any founding-member pricing will state its eligibility, duration and renewal price before you pay.
12. Trials
We may offer free trials. Trial length and conditions will be shown when you start one. Unless we clearly say otherwise at the time, when a trial ends your workspace will move to the Free plan rather than being charged automatically. Joining the waitlist does not start a trial.
13. Changes to the service and pricing
We may improve, change or discontinue features. We will give reasonable advance notice of changes that materially reduce the service you pay for, and of price changes, which will apply from your next billing period after notice.
14. Service availability
We work hard to keep Boga reliable, but we cannot guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or that every scheduled post will publish. A post may not publish if a platform is unavailable, changes its API, rejects the content, limits your account or if your authorization has expired. Boga is being designed to show you a clear status when something needs attention.
15. Beta and early-access features
Early-access and beta features are provided to gather feedback. They may be incomplete, change or be removed, and may have lower reliability than generally available features.
16. Boga’s intellectual property
Boga’s software, website, design, name and logo belong to Boga Tanzania LTD or its licensors. These terms do not give you any right to use them except to use the service as intended.
17. Feedback
If you send us ideas or feedback, you allow us to use them to improve Boga without any obligation to you. We will not publicly identify you as the source without your permission.
18. Suspension and termination
You can stop using Boga or leave the waitlist at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, if required by law or a platform, or to protect Boga, our customers or others. Where reasonable, we will give notice and a chance to fix the problem first. You can contact us to appeal a decision.
19. Disclaimer of warranties
To the extent permitted by law, Boga is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise that Boga will increase your followers, reach, engagement or revenue. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or guarantees you have under mandatory consumer law.
20. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Boga Tanzania LTD is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost data or lost opportunities, or for the acts of social platforms. Our total liability for any claim relating to Boga is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or TZS 100,000 if you have not paid us anything. These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud.
21. Indemnity
If you use Boga for business purposes, you agree to compensate Boga Tanzania LTD for reasonable losses and costs arising from third-party claims caused by your content or your breach of these terms or the law.
22. Governing law and courts
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Disputes will be handled by the courts of Tanzania, without limiting any right you may have to bring a claim in the courts of the country where you live. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve any issue informally.
23. Changes and notices
We may update these terms. For material changes, we will notify you by email or in the product before they take effect. We may send notices to the email address you gave us. You can send legal notices to [email protected] or by post to our address below.
