Data Deletion Instructions

You can ask us to delete your Boga data at any time. You don’t need an account or a password — just an email from the address you used with us.

Send an email to [email protected] with the subject “Delete my Boga data”.
Email [email protected]1. How to request deletion
While Boga is in prelaunch:
- Email [email protected] from the address you used to join the waitlist or contact us.
- Use the subject “Delete my Boga data”.
- We verify the request, usually by replying to that address. We will never ask for your password or social media login details.
- We delete or anonymize your waitlist and support data, except records we must keep by law or for security.
- We email you to confirm it’s done and explain when remaining backup copies expire.

2. What we delete
- Your waitlist entry: name, email, phone, business details, preferences and consent records.
- Messages you sent through our contact form.
- After launch: your account, workspaces, content, media, schedules and connected-account tokens.
We may keep a minimal record that a deletion was carried out, and records we are legally required to retain, such as invoices once payments exist.
3. How long it takes
- We acknowledge requests within 5 business days.
- We complete verified requests within 30 days, subject to applicable law and permitted exceptions.
- Copies in our encrypted backups are not edited individually. They roll off automatically within 35 days.
4. After Boga launches
Boga accounts and social connections are not live yet. When they are, you will also be able to:
- Delete your account in Boga from Settings → Account → Privacy → Delete account.
- Disconnect individual social accounts in Boga, which stops publishing and deletes that account’s stored tokens.
- Revoke Boga’s access through the platform itself: in Instagram or Facebook under the settings for apps and websites (Business Integrations), in TikTok under the settings for apps with access to your account, or in your Google Account under third-party connections for YouTube.
Where a platform requires it — for example Meta’s deauthorization and data deletion callbacks — we will implement automated callbacks when each integration launches, so that removing Boga on the platform also triggers deletion of the related data in Boga.
