Acceptable Use Policy
Effective date: 26 September 2026 · Last updated: 26 September 2026
Boga is built to help people publish good work. This policy keeps Boga safe for everyone and protects our relationships with the platforms we connect to. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
Boga is in prelaunch. This document describes how we operate today and how we intend to operate when the product launches. We will update it, and tell you about material changes, before new features go live.
1. Why this policy exists
Misuse by one customer can harm other people, put our platform integrations at risk and affect every Boga customer. We ask you not to use Boga — including the website, waitlist and future service — in the ways below.
2. What is not allowed
- Illegal, fraudulent or deceptive activity, including scams, phishing and misleading promotions.
- Spam and unauthorized bulk or unsolicited messaging.
- Harassment, hate, exploitation or violent threats against any person or group.
- Sexual exploitation of anyone, and any child sexual abuse material. We report such material to the authorities.
- Infringing or unauthorized content, such as content that violates copyright, trademarks or someone’s privacy.
- Malware, credential theft or platform manipulation, including attempts to access accounts or systems you are not authorized to use.
- Circumventing rate limits or platform restrictions, including using Boga to get around a platform’s limits or enforcement.
- Fake engagement, impersonation or coordinated inauthentic behaviour, such as buying followers, running fake accounts or pretending to be someone else.
- Scraping or reverse engineering Boga beyond what the law expressly allows.
- Anything that jeopardizes Boga’s integrations or other customers, including overloading our systems or testing security without following our responsible disclosure guidelines.
3. Platform rules
Content you publish through Boga must also follow the rules of the platform you publish to, including the community guidelines and terms of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube.
4. Reporting misuse
If you see Boga being misused, please tell us:
- Abuse, harmful content or intellectual property complaints: [email protected]
- Security vulnerabilities or compromised accounts: [email protected]
- Anything else: [email protected]
Include links, screenshots and dates where possible. Please don’t send passwords or access tokens.
5. Investigation and enforcement
We review reports promptly and fairly. Depending on how serious the issue is, we may remove or block content, pause scheduled posts, limit features, or suspend or close an account. Where the law requires, or where there is a risk of serious harm, we may notify the relevant platform or authorities.
Where appropriate, we will tell you what we found and give you a chance to fix the problem before taking action. We may act immediately where there is a risk to people, to Boga’s integrations or where the law requires.
6. Appeals
If you think we made a mistake, email [email protected] with the subject “Appeal” within 30 days of our decision. Someone who wasn’t involved in the original decision will review it, and we will tell you the outcome.
